Endowed with a gift from Gregory G. Flynn ’86, P’20, P’20 and Julie A. Flynn P’20, P’20, the series brings high-profile speakers to the campus and creates opportunities for undergraduate students to learn from experts at the top of their fields. Each visit includes a public lecture and a separate seminar with an intimate group of undergraduate students.

Nominate a speaker
We welcome nominations for the series from Brown University undergraduate students and faculty. We are especially interested in visitors who are known beyond academe (writers, journalists, and public intellectuals, for example). Potential course tie-ins should be mentioned. Nominations will be reviewed by faculty and students affiliated with the Cogut Institute in the spring.
