Governing Board

The board advises the director on the institute's strategic direction and programmatic initiatives and participates in the fellowship and award selections.

The governing board consists of the institute's director and eight appointed tenured faculty from departments or programs in the humanities, as well as scholars from departments and programs in other areas of the University whose main research is closely related to scholarship in the humanities. Faculty members serve staggered three-year terms.
