In Fall 2022, the Center for Digital Scholarship at Brown University Library and the Cogut Institute launched a Doctoral Certificate in Digital Humanities. This new initiative prepares students for work in a world where research opportunities rapidly evolve alongside technology. New integrative undergraduate courses shed light on health inequalities, Indigenous languages of the Americas, and simulated reality. Since 2019, the institute has enriched Brown’s curriculum with six courses through its Collaborative Humanities Course Award program, with three more courses debuting in the 2023–24 academic year.
