Biography

Kaitlin Porter is the Academic Program Coordinator for the Cogut Institute for the Humanities, handling day-to-day support operations for research, teaching, and learning. She has extensive experience in interdisciplinary STEM administration at the University of North Carolina and Vanderbilt University, where she used her background in English to support the communication of scientific findings to non-scientists. She earned her M.A. in Medieval and Renaissance Literary Studies from Durham University, researching early modern women’s poetry. She now uses her professional fluency in Middle English and early modern Britanno-Italian diplomacy to write fiction in her spare time, hoping that one day her staff bio will also include a publishing credit.
